Whole came to us with one of the most straightforward needs a business can have: they had grown and their brand needed to catch up. It can be easy to overcomplicate projects like this or search for a deeper strategic problem when sometimes the opportunity is simply to make something feel more elevated, considered and complete. For Whole, that meant building a more high-end identity around a strong monogram and house mark, handmade illustrations and a visual system that felt appropriate for where the company was headed. The result gave their real estate management business a much stronger presence, but it also became another valuable asset as they began franchising the company and presenting the brand to a wider audience. Sometimes the goal is to be radically different. Other times, it’s simply to be really great at the fundamentals and give a growing business a brand that finally looks like the business it has become.
