Arc88 is an industrial design studio that came to us for a new brand and website. Working with other designers requires a nuanced kind of collaboration. The brand has to work in the market, but it also needs to feel like an honest reflection of the creative people behind it. We dug into the studio’s point of view, tastes, process, and the objects that inspired them. The identity drew from perforated steel plates used in machining, forming a symbol that also reads as an abstract 88. From there, we built a restrained website that allows the studio’s portfolio to take the lead. The result is a brand that feels distinctly theirs and gives potential clients a clearer understanding of both what Arc88 creates and how they think.
